Our Mission

Whet Ink Productions is an artistically diverse production company that re-imagines classics through intersectionality (the overlap of race, gender, sexuality, class, veteran status, age, disability, nationality, religion) and fosters new works by artists of marginalized communities through film, theatre, and arts education.

We at Whet Ink believe art is a living form that changes and grows with the world around it. The canvas is never dry and can always be made anew to reflect the issues, ideas, and lives of the world today. Through film projects (documentaries, short and full-length narratives, episodic content), theatrical projects, and podcasts, Whet Ink aims to open doors to help artists and audiences break the pre-conceived notions on what performance art is and what it can do. Re-Think with Whet Ink.
